Minimalist self-catering accommodation in town centre traditional weaver’s cottage dating from the late 1780's. Restored in 2005. Access via rear courtyard. Ground floor kitchen (gas cooker, fridge, microwave), dining/sitting room with inglenook fireplace, wood burner and DVD player. Access down to cellar for /freezer and wood store. First floor shower room - shower, wash basin, toilet and airing cupboard with immersion heater. Second bedroom with bunk bed (suit small children). 2nd floor large through double bedroom in traditional weaver’s workroom with original oak flooring and beams. Bed linen and towels provided. Unfortunately no dishwasher or washing machine – laundrette nearby.
The cottage is situated just off Great Oak St, in the middle of Llanidloes, with many in-town attractions, good pubs and restaurants with its surrounding area offering much for walkers and birdwatchers.
This cottage is the smallest in the terrace and can be described as compact although at one time it was known to house a family of seven! Would suit two adults only or two adults/two small children. There is no parking available on the premises but free parking available generally in the town.
Cost of rental from £165-£275 per week depending on season – shorter breaks may be accommodated
