The Angel is one of Llanidloes' historic timber framed coaching inns, built in 1748. The low oak beamed ceiling in the public bar and lounge are full of character and provide a cosy and attractive environment for meeting and making friends. We serve traditional ales and there is bar food available most days between Noon and 2pm and 6-9pm. There is also a quiet beer garden to the rear of the building.
Though no longer offering overnight accommodation, the Angel Inn is now also a fully fledged restaurant, capable of comfortably seating 35-40 people. The restaurant is open for orders all week between 7-9pm, with the exception of Wednesday and Sunday. Every Sunday afternoon we have a carvery, with a single course meal available for just £5.50, two courses for £8.50 and three courses for £10.50. All our meals are totally home made using ingredients of the finest quality (See our entry in the Good Food Guide for further details). Advanced and block bookings of the restaurant by special parties are welcomed; please call Paul or Debbie for further details. Menus can be supplied upon request. There is ample car parking available at the rear of the Inn for all diners.
