The magnificent Llyn Clywedog, just two miles away, offers a wonderful
venue for sailing as well as being the best trout fishing lake in the
country. The whole area is seamed with footpaths, National Trails and
the quietest of country lanes, all waiting to be explored. And having
played hard, you can return to enjoy the hospitality of your hosts,
Frank and Jean Poole, professional caterers who can offer you an
evening
meal, or you can just sit and relax in the conservatory as the sun sets
behind the towering Van Hill and the surrounding valleys are bathed in
