Our 4 star cottages make an ideal rural retreat and a great base for an outdoor activity holiday, a romantic break or a get together with friends or family. If you are looking for a low impact, but comfortable and cosy break in a lovely rural location with abundant wildlife, then our newly constructed and eco friendly cottages will fit the bill. The adjoining cottages are timber framed, highly insulated and heated by a combination of wood fuelled central heating, huge array of solar hot water panels and cosy wood burner.
Both cottages sleep 2-8 in two double rooms, one room with substantial and comfortable adult size (3 foot) bunk beds and one twin room with en suite shower room. The rest of each cottage consists of a large open plan living area, kitchen and shower room.
The cottages were designed, furnished and fitted out to a very high standard: a fact recognised by the Visit Wales 4 star rating. They are all located on one level and there is ramp access. Prices per week (2008) range from £275 (low season) to £600 (high season). The hire charge includes electricity, heating and a basket of wood for the wood burner. Well behaved pets by arrangement.
The cottages are also available for long week-ends and mid-week breaks - please enquire. If you are looking for accommodation for up to 16 for family get togethers / groups of friends, the cottages can also be hired together. Stabling for up to 5 horses is available if required: and grazing.
We also offer an evening meal (either 2 or 3 courses) to guests on the day of arrival. All the food is freshly home-cooked and sourced locally where possible.
