This is a newly renovated two hundred year old property, decorated and furnished
in keeping with the Grade 2 features of the cottage.
Dan Y Coed is a two minute drive or ten minute walk from the town centre of Llanidloes.
The cottage sleeps 4, having one double en suite and one twin bedroom.
The house is heated by a cosy wood burning stove which connects to a central heating system.
Baskets of logs are provided and wood is stored in the garden.
The heritage style bathroom has under floor heating to give a little luxury.
The newly fitted kitchen and cosy living room are open plan, separated by exposed timber beams.
Bay windows in each room are south facing and overlook the Severn Valley and hills beyond.
The garden is reached by a steep and narrow pathway to an upper lawn which has stunning views and a
sense of secrecy and retreat. Tan yr Allt woodland adjoins the garden, a 25 metre scramble bringing you
onto the woodland footpaths leading to Glyndwr’s Way and the Severn Way.
