The object of the Festival of the Great Outdoors is to get you out enjoying the healthy, open air by show-casing the wide range of activities available in the Llanidloes area. As coordinator of the Festival, L.L.A.N.I. Ltd makes no financial gain and can accept no liability for any injury suffered or any disappointment experienced arising from participation in the activities laid on.
All professional activity providers taking part in the festival have insurances in place, though in some cases, such as the Yahama Offroad Experience, participants will be asked to sign a disclaimer to state that they take part at their own risk.
With regard to the guided walks, a disclaimer will need to be signed before the commencement of each walk. Please note that the guide will have discretion to refuse to lead participants who are not suitably prepared for the walk. Please ensure that you wear sensible shoes and clothing.
All children under 16 years of age taking part in activities must be accompanied by an adult. We would encourage the accompanying adult to join in with the activities, though this is not necessary on all occasions.
There are only a limited number of places available on each activity. Be sure to book early to avoid disappointment. Similarly, some activities will only go ahead if a minimum number of participants book a place. Every effort will be made to notify you of the cancellation of an activity at least twenty four hours before it is due to take place.
Participants taking part in the fishing tuition at the Llyn Clywedog are advised to provide themselves with sunglasses and to come prepared for the prevailing weather conditions.
