Glyngynwydd has been listed in local records as a "township" since early times and now consists of a traditional 17th century farmhouse, surrounded by a cluster of farm buildings of various ages which have been sympathetically converted into five beautifully appointed self-contained holiday cottages that retain the original structure and character of these fine old stone and timber framed buildings.
Nestling on the eastern slopes of an unspoilt valley a few miles to the south of Llanidloes, and standing in twelve acres of land which include woodland, wildlife ponds, meadows, our own stream and dingle, plus gardens where our guests can relax and enjoy fine views of the beautiful surrounding countryside, Glyngynwydd is the ideal spot in which to get away from it all, or to act as a base to explore the many activities and places of interest that Mid Wales has to offer.
