Members of the public are welcome at Council meetings, which are held on
the fourth Wednesday evening of the month from 7.30pm. Meetings rotate between Hen Neuadd, Y Fan and Llanidloes
Agendas are published the week prior to the meeting on Notice Boards located at
Glan y Nant (telephone kiosk), Y Fan (bus shelter), Llanidloes Town Hall and on the Community Webpage http://www.llanidloes.com/llaniwithout/
Any disabled member of the community wishing to attend a Community Council meeting should contact the Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer in advance to ensure that any reasonable adjustments are made to assist with access.
The Council is an independent organisation. Councillors are elected by the community.
Local government elections are held every four years, and the next election will be in May 2012. Vacancies occasionally arise in between elections. Anyone interested in becoming a Community Councillor should contact the Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer.
