Tyn-y-Fron opened in May 2007 and can cater for up to 5 caravans and 10 tents. Facilities include a chemical toilet disposal point and tap with spring water. Set in 37 acres of private farmland, you are ideally placed to take a walk through the bluebells, cycle to Llanidloes (approx 2 miles) along a dedicated cycle route, or join one of the newly way-marked routes around nearby Marsh’s Pool. Red Kites and Jays are often seen above the site and bird watchers won’t be disappointed. On a clear day views extend as far as Buttington, near Welshpool (30 miles by road).
