At the viewing area situated above the dam, Severn Trent have created the Look Out, an elevated platform with undercover seating, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding country. A ramp up to the platform makes it fully accessible for all to enjoy. Glass partitions provide shelter from the elements on those less than perfect days.
At the Look Out you will find the Red Kite Kiosk, which provides hot drinks and ice-creams (take your pick depending on the weather!), together with a selection of sandwiches and other light refreshments. The Kiosk is run by Christine and Douglas Barley who provide a warm welcome for all those wishing to stop and take a break beside the lake.

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (from Good Friday onwards): 11:00am – 5:00pm
Weekends: 11:00am – 5:00pm
Closed during the winter months
Although the Kiosk is closed on Wednesdays and Fridays, please note that opening times
are flexible. Christine and Douglas encourage you to call if you have an event planned or
if you're in a group and know when you’ll be arriving; they will do their best to
accommodate you.
The Look Out also has a fully accessible toilet block.
