Llanidloes Town Council is housed in the Town Hall, a listed building given to the town by the Davies family of Llandinam, originally built to provide temperance accommodation as an alternative to the spirited establishments elsewhere in the town. From riverside parkland to a Grade 1 listed market hall, the Council holds these places in trust for the town.

Severn Porte

Parkland off Long Bridge Street, running alongside the River Severn - ideal for picnics or feeding the ducks.

Victoria Avenue Play Park

A community play park with toilet facility.

Recreation Ground

Home to the Bowling, Cricket, Tennis and Croquet Clubs, plus a children's playground.

Skatepark & Riverside Park

Built in 2005 and well used by skaters and BMX bikers; the riverside walk is popular with dog walkers.

Old Market Hall

The pride and symbol of Llanidloes, the Old Market Hall owned by the Town Council is the most distinctive building in the town. It is the only surviving timber-framed market hall in Wales.

Millennium Garden

A picturesque garden on Llangurig Road, managed by a group of willing volunteers - a tranquil place to rest a while.

Dolhafren Cemetery

On Trefeglwys Road. Since 1 April 2024 the Town Council manages the Cemetery directly, in place of the former joint committee.

Allt Goch Woodlands

11 hectares of ancient, restored woodland on the outskirts of Llanidloes.

Gro Public Toilets

Smithfield Street - public toilets leased from Powys County Council.

Llanidloes Youth Centre

Mount Lane. A 25-year lease was acquired from Powys County Council in 2025 to bring the building back to life.
