Clywedog Riverside

Clywedog Park offers a haven of peace and tranquillity in the heart of Mid Wales. This secluded, family run site nestles in its own picturesque section of the valley of the River Clywedog. A more idyllic setting for a holiday home would be hard to imagine.

The park is open from the second weekend in March through to January 5th each year. Amenities on site include a modern launderette, a telephone kiosk and separate dog walking areas. Caravans are sited on hard standings and have connections to all mains services, including piped television. Well maintained roads and street lighting make all the homes easily accessible. All makes of caravans can be supplied, and previously owned quality caravans are occasionally available for sale.

The park is just a fifteen minute walk from the centre of the lovely and welcoming town of Llanidloes, which has a wide variety of places to eat and drink, ranging from traditional British fare to Indian cuisine. The shops of Llanidloes are full of character, and can provide all the requirements to make your holiday residence a real home away from home.

The park is ideally suited to a whole host of activities. Fishing permits can be obtained for the nearby Llyn Clywedog, probably the best lake for brown and rainbow trout in Wales, and it's also possible to sail on the lake. Llanidloes boasts a scenic nine hole golf course, a leisure centre for aerobics, swimming and squash, and is at the centre of a network of wonderfully scenic paths leading round the surrounding countryside.
