Red Kite Touring Park

Red Kite Touring Park is a family owned, adult only touring park quietly nestled in the Mid Wales countryside, just a 15 minute walk from the historic market town of Llanidloes. Set on 20 acres on the gently sloping, south facing side of the Clywedog valley, the 5 star park features 62 fully serviced pitches, a state of the art amenity block, nature ponds, a coarse fishing pool, walking routes and dog walks.

Carol, Terry, Richard and Emily welcomed the first touring caravans and motorhomes in May 2016, and the park is now open all year round. It's an ideal base for exploring the Clywedog Reservoir, Hafren Forest and the Elan Valley, or further afield Snowdonia National Park and the Brecon Beacons, with beautiful coastal towns just a 40 minute drive away.

If you dream of days by the lake with a fishing rod in hand, our touring park could be the perfect choice for those looking for a fishing holiday.

Located just below our touring pitches you will find our coarse fishing pool, which is well stocked with carp weighing up to 12lb, tench, bream and crucian carp.

Our touring site in Wales is home to 62 fully serviced pitches, suitable for caravans and motorhomes. Each pitch has access to 16 amp electricity, your own drinking water supply and access to our immaculate amenities block, so you won't have to worry about leaving the creature comforts behind. Touring pitches are gravel hardstanding, accessed along tarmac roadways and paths. Approximately half of our pitches require parking "nose" first, depending on which side your habitation door is on.

Our adult only Red Kite Lodges offer peace and tranquillity, located on the southern sloping side of the Clywedog Valley. Completed to the highest standard, each offers uninterrupted views, large spacious plots and all the mod cons.

The perfect base to explore the Cambrian Mountains, Mid Wales and the southern edge of Snowdonia.
