About Us
Richard George & Jenkins Solicitors has been providing legal services in Mid Wales since 1904 when we were founded by Mr Richard George, who was later joined by Mr H L D Jenkins, hence the firm was given the designation of Richard George & Jenkins. Our head office is in Newtown, but we have recently expanded by opening a second office in Llanidloes.
Local Llanidloes solicitor, and the firm’s Senior Partner, Michael Davies, who has been with Richard George & Jenkins since 1979, will head the Llanidloes office along with his son, Christopher Davies, who is a fully qualified solicitor and has recently joined the firm.
We hold Quality Scheme marks for several areas of practice and the firm has Lexcel Accreditation meaning we offer our clients the highest standards of work. We are legal aid accredited meaning we can offer legal aid funded services in both Crime and Family law. We also offer 24/7 police station representation, covered by legal aid.
